Common questions, answered.

Is Let's Mahj free to use? +
Yes — the core app, group discovery, and scheduling are completely free. We don't run ads, and we don't sell your data.
What Mahjong variants are supported? +
Players can tag their group with the variants they play — American (NMJL), Hong Kong, Riichi, Taiwanese, and more. Filter by what you know, or learn a new one from the neighborhood.
Do I have to share my exact address? +
Nope. We only use your ZIP code to show nearby groups. Precise meeting locations are only shared with group members after you join.
Can I run my own private group? +
Absolutely. Create an invite-only group, set the rules and stakes, and share a private link with your friends. You'll be the group manager.
Is this for beginners too? +
Many groups welcome beginners — just filter for "beginner-friendly" on Discover. You'll find teaching tables in most cities.
Which devices are supported? +
Let's Mahj runs on iPhone (iOS 16+) and Android (8.0+). A web version is on the roadmap.
